Every time I see that Prius commercial on SNF, I can't help but think "those poor bastards. Why would you ever want to buy another Prius....."

I don't know but my family has three in the driveway and we did have four. 2001, 2004 (totaled), 2010, 2014 (plugin) pretty ridiculous. I replaced my 2004 with a Saab 9-2x with manual transmission :)

My parent's have one. They racked up 80K miles in 3 years, and only had to change the oil and tires. The car sucks, but it's reliable and incredible frugal. Back when it debuted there wasn't much out there for people to buy besides a TDI. And VW wasn't known for making reliable cars like Toyota was.

I like the Prius; I haven't had to turn a wrench once on that car.

The Prius was never targeted towards enthusiast like me or you. You should complain about the CR-Z instead.
